How to: Change the width of a control object on a report.
Solution:
In Report Design view, select the control, select the 'View' menu and select 'Properties'. Make the changes in the 'Width' property boxes.
1) If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
2) Click the 'Reports' tab.

3) Select the desired report to change. (The report highlights.)
4) Click 'Design'. (The report opens in Design view.)
5) Select the control to change. (Handles appear around the control.)
6) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Properties'. (The property sheet for the selected control appears.)
7) Click the 'Format' tab from the property sheet.
NOTE: The control's borders may vary, and certain controls will not conform to the following step.
